- You can tell really long stories through email
- If you’re a good writer, you can make your emails really engaging

- You need to have a mailing list!
- Not many people check their email
- They take a while to write (unless you hire a copywriter)
2. Text Database Reactivation For Your Current Clients, Past Clients, and Leads
A text database reactivation is when you take your database and text them an offer.
If it sounds simple, it is because it is!
This is a SUPER SIMPLE strategy that can get you really awesome results...
But, a couple of key things are needed in order to make it work well.
1. You need to have an irresistible offer
In order to make this strategy work really well, a great offer is needed.
It’s hard to say exactly what a great offer is, but what I can tell you is that when people see your offer they have to get excited about it.
The more irresistible your offer, the better!
For example, let’s say you run a dance studio for adults and you sell class packages...
If you text your leads list:
“Hi, we’re doing a giving out a 10% discount if you buy a class package today, are you interested”
Your leads might not be so excited about a 10% discount…
On the other hand if you were to send that out to your current students list, you might get lots of people buying that extra package…
They know they are already coming to your studio, so the chances that they would want to save some money are way higher…
Plus, they already like you, and trust you…
So they feel comfortable paying for your dance classes…
Which brings me to the other point...
2. Trust before money
The reason why your leads list acts different than your current students is because you have earned your current students’ trust.
This might be obvious, but it’s important to mention it for a couple of reasons.
Always make sure that you separate (segment) your lists.
For the sake of simplicity you can have 2 lists…
One includes your leads and your past students, and the other list includes only your current students.
It is important for you to do this because these two lists will respond to completely different offers, and messages…
If you haven’t earned someone’s trust, do NOT ask for their money right away.
The number one mistake you can make when texting an offer to your leads list is to ask them for money right away…
Don’t send out a text message saying:
“Hi, are you interested in learning to dance? We’re giving $20 off our membership for anyone who signs up today!”
If you send out a message like the one above, some people might take you up on the offer, but 99% of people won’t.
The offer is not attractive enough, plus they don’t trust you yet.
They don’t know if they are going to like the classes or not, so you have to take the risk away…
If you’re going to ask for money, give a huge discount 50%+
Or ask for a very low amount: “try 1 class for $1” or “try 1 week for $1”
The BEST offer you can give your leads list is something for free…
Preferably something like 1 week for free.
3. Follow up is the KEY
Always remember that people forget, and people are lazy.
Just because you create an irresistible offer doesn’t mean that students are going to show up to your studio and enroll themselves…
You need to FOLLOW UP, and you need to follow up like CRAZY!
Once someone texts you back telling you that they are interested in your offer…
Then you need to be AGGRESSIVE with your follow up, and you need to make sure that you keep following up with them until they show up to your studio.
This might sound too harsh, but it’s the truth…
If you don’t follow up with people you’re NOT going to see good results from this (or any other) strategy.
4. The larger the list the better!
This one is obvious, but I want to point it out for a reason.
You need to make an effort to KEEP growing your list.
Every person that comes to the studio needs to leave you their contact information so that you can follow up with them.

Take down the information of ALL the people who call your studio.
Having a bigger list is going to pay off DIVIDENDS for you in the lifespan of your dance studio.
5. Test offers
If you want to ensure that you will have success with this strategy, you need to do a little testing.
Come up with an offer and text it to the first 100-200 people of your list, and see how it goes.
If you don’t get 4-10% of the people taking you up on your offer, is it not a good one, and you need to change things up.
6. Use a software
Texting each person on your list is going to take you a really long time, especially if you have a massive list…
