How To Cancel an Appointment From Your Lead Connector Phone App

Canceling an appointment is an important step as part of the automation process. When a person requests and appointment cancellation for a trial class, it is important to cancel their appointment in the system so that:

  •  The person stops receiving the automation with initial appointment reminders to get them to come to the trial class;
  • The person gets automatically added to a campaign asking them when they would like to reschedule the appointment.

Below are the two ways in which you can cancel an appointment:

  1. Cancellation from the Conversation Screen with the person who booked
  2. Cancellation from the Dashboard Screen


1. Cancellation from the Conversation Screen

  • Step 1: Ensure you are in the Conversation screen
  • Step 2: Click on the three dots in the top corner
  • Step 3: From the drop down menu, click on View Contact
  • Step 4: Go to the Appointments Tab on the Top Row
  • Step 5: Find the Appointment that says "Confirmed" & click on it
  • Step 6: Click on the pencil at the top right corner
  • Step 7: Under Appointment Status, click the drop down menu
  • Step 8: Change the Status from "Confirmed" to "Cancelled"
  • Step 9: Press the check mark at the top right corner to finalize the cancellation
  • Step 10: You will then go back to the conversation with the person and manually ask them when they would like to reschedule the trial class.

2. Cancellation from the Dashboard Screen

  • Step 1: Press on the Calendar Icon at the bottom left of your screen
  • Step 2: Once the calendar opens, look for the person from the list below the calendar (person booked will be highlighted in blue)
  • Step 3: Press the Name of the Person who cancelled
  • Step 4: This will open a Menu with from which you will change the status to "Cancelled"
  • Step 5: Press "Yes" when asked if you're sure you want to cancel the appointment. Once the appointment is cancelled, the person's name will be highlighted in Red  

How To Reschedule an Appointment From Your Lead Connector Phone App

  • Step 1: Ensure you are in the Conversation screen
  • Step 2: Click on the three dots in the top corner
  • Step 3: From the drop down menu, click on View Contact
  • Step 4: Go to the Appointments Tab on the Top Row
  • Step 5: Find the Appointment that says "Cancelled" & click on it
  • Step 6: Click on the pencil at the top right corner
  • Step 7: Change the time and date under "Appointment Date" by selecting from the drop down menu with time slots
  • Step 8: Under Appointment Status, click the drop down menu
  • Step 9: Change the Status from "Cancelled" to "Confirmed"
  • Step 10: Press the check mark at the top right corner to finalize the cancellation.

An automated message will then be sent by the system to the person, confirming the newly booked appointment.
